Da Vinci’s Donuts is adding a Roswell outpost. Franchisees Ron and Wendie Hardnock have secured a 10-year lease for a 600-square-foot space in the Southern Post mixed-use, at 1037 Alpharetta Street.
Da Vinci’s Donuts Founder Andrew Rudd last week announced the news on Facebook. “Given its location in the heart of Roswell, and its ease of access, Southern Post will allow Da Vinci’s Donuts to serve the city of Roswell and tenants of Southern Post for many years to come,” Rudd wrote.
“As members of the Roswell family for over 13 years, we are very excited about the revitalization and growth of downtown historic Roswell … We are extremely proud to be a part of Southern Post, which will truly be a magnificent place where people can come together to dine, shop, and enjoy the atmosphere,” Ron and Wendie Hardnock told What Now Atlanta in a prepared statement.
Da Vinci’s Donuts, which started franchising with a Dunwoody outpost, is known for its small, customizable doughnuts. The menu includes flavors like tiramisu, maple bacon, and dulce de leche. Da Vinci’s Donuts currently operates four locations: Alpharetta, Buckhead, Dawsonville, and Sandy Springs. There was also an outpost in Suwanee, but like the Dunwoody location, has permanently closed, per the company’s website.
An opening for the Roswell location has not been disclosed but Southern Post broke ground in March. The development will offer 40,000 square feet of retail space, 90,000 square feet of loft-style, open-concept office space, 128 apartments and 10 townhomes with garages.
